If you think high-definition is restricted to the TV at home, think again - now even your
fishing equipment can be high-def, thanks to Furuno's FCV620, which combines reliable fishfinding
equipment with the latest in digital filtering. The FCV620 utilizes Furuno's DSP (Digital Signal
Processing) technology, a revolutionary digital filter that adapts to your fishing environment by
adjusting gain, STC clutter and output power, as well as suppressing main bang (the echoes just
below the tranducer). DSP also makes the picture on the FCV620's super-bright, 5.6-inch LCD screen
clearer, so it's easier to decipher between baitfish and larger target species. The
sunlight-viewable screen employs 256 colors with a wide viewing angle, displaying even the subtlest
of echoes. Additional features include seven basic operation modes that allow you to choose the
perfect method of display according to your specific fishing situation, along with eight range
scales down to 2,500 feet. The FCV620's waterproof construction allows it to be installed on any
bridge, whether it's desktop-mounted or flush-mounted. $895.
