Brunswick Corp. To Sell Baja Marine To Fountain Powerboats

Brunswick Corp. —
parent company of such maritime brands as Mercury, Bayliner, Boston Whaler, Kayot, Sea Ray and
Kellogg Marine, among many others — has signed a letter of intent to sell certain assets related to
its Baja Marine business to
Fountain Powerboat Industries Inc.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed; completion of the sale is subject to certain conditions.
Brunswick has announced it will cease production of Baja boats by the end of May 2008 in order to correspond with the end of model year 2008.
