What's In A Boat Name? Great Prizes!

By Jennifer Dennard

To help celebrate its 25th anniversary as one of the largest providers of classic boat insurance, Hagerty Classic Marine Insurance is sponsoring the “What’s In A Name?” contest to find the most unique story behind participating boats’ names.

All classic boat owners ages 18 and up are invited to enter their stories by May 31, 2008. Finalists will be announced in June and may be invited to appear in a 2009 Hagerty calendar celebrating the company’s anniversary. The grand-prize winner will receive a painting of their boat by marine artist Roy Dryer, while second-place and third-place winners will receive foul-weather gear, and a $300 West Marine gift card, respectively.
