Wake up! While having an auto pilot on a long cruise can be a godsend, it can quickly turn into a nightmare if you fall asleep at the helm. Aqualarm introduces the Last Watch II digital Helmsman minder, a pre-set electronic timer with a loud buzzer to get the attention of a drowsy boater. A digital display counts down a timer with up to 90 minutes entered; a 30-second warning gives you a heads-up before a full-blown wake-up call. Push buttons make for easy setting and resetting. Prices start at $199.
