Johnson Marine's new Grab ‘n Go Hook ($69.95) will help you out of a tight spot. It's a mooring device consisting of a track that fits onto the end of a conventional boat hook, and another hook that attaches to the boat's bow line for easy attachment or removal. While it's not a permanent mooring device, it's perfect for temporary or "lunch hook" use.
